Description

This is for repair services to correct almost any problem with e-flight micro helicopter boards for the mCPx, mCPx BL, mSRX, mQx, mSR, 120sr, 130X and Nano CPX. Please see the list below for services offered for each airframe. If its not listed I can probably still fix it. The only thing I can't repair are boards broken into two and boards that were fatally damaged by the owner attempting a repair. (Fatal damage by owner is rare but it happens when you go crazy with the iron.)

All repairs are flat rate and include any parts required to restore the board to service. Boards will be brought as close to factory specification or better whenever possible. However, some damage repairs require modification to the factory layout of the board, i.e. installing jumper wires, building new traces in non original locations, and changes to the orientation of parts. When complete, the repair will operate as well as or better than the original.
What if I can't fix it?

In the rare event your board can not be repaired, you will be immediately contacted. You will need to then decide if you would like the board returned to you. If you choose to not have it returned I will cannibalize parts from it to save other people's boards. I will then issue a full refund, less return shipping costs if you choose to have it returned, for the repair service.

Shipping

To Me-Boards will be shipped to me at your expense by your method of choice. You will be provided the shipping address on your order confirmation. The board will be going to Wichita, KS 67206. Please pad the board well. A double wrap of bubble wrap works well. Also, place the board in a suitable container. A plain envelope greatly increases the chance of further damage. I find small bubble mailers are cheap and work great. Finally, include a copy of the order confirmation in the package so I know whose board it is and what service is needed. Feel free to include any note you think might be helpful.

From Me- To keep costs down, boards will not be automatically insured. I have shipped over 1000 boards and have only had two lost by the USPS. One board fell out of a badly damaged package, and one completely disappeared. You will have the option to choose insurance when you place the item in your shopping cart. If you choose not to insure, you agree that I will not be responsible for any lost/damaged items. If you purchase insurance, you will be provided an insurance tracking number when your item ships. You use this number to file a claim with the USPS in the rare event your item is lost or damaged. When your board ships, you will receive an email with the ship date and delivery confirmation number. If you loose this email or your spam filter eats it, this information is also available in your account history on the website.
